Before you submit

• Publication is not guaranteed. Every submission is read by a person. We may edit, decline or never publish any article, and we do not owe a reason.
• Your choice, made now: when you submit, you choose how you would be paid if your article is approved and published: cash ($20) through PayPal, or store credit worth double ($40) (no cash value, non-refundable). Your choice is locked once you submit; only our team can correct it. You may instead choose decide later: after your article is published we email you a one-time link, to choose cash or store credit, and that choice is then locked. If you don’t choose, we will contact you by email and the owner handles it by hand; there is no automatic default yet. Nothing is paid for submitting, nothing is paid automatically, and the owner approves and pays each one by hand. Acceptance and publication are not guaranteed. • You are paid only if your article is approved and published, in the form you chose, after we approve the payout by hand.
• Original work only, and you must have the right to the final text. AI-assisted writing is allowed, but you must tell us if you used AI tools (required question below). No copied text and no copyrighted band art or logos.
• Byline and where it runs: a published article runs in The Led Zeppelin Bus Newsletter with your name as the byline (we may adjust it with you). It is not posted on a public web page unless you separately agree in writing to a public post. Prefer to stay anonymous? Tick the anonymous box in the form and pick an author title, such as "The Roadie" or "A Longtime Fan", to use instead of your name. You still give us your real name and email so we can pay you and keep records. We keep those private and never publish them.
• Tax: writers are paid as independent contractors. We report payments on a 1099 where the law requires, and we need a W-9 on file before we approve your first cash payout (store credit does not need one to be issued). Never put a Social Security or tax ID number in this form.
• No images needed. Please do not upload or send images. If we publish your article, we supply the pictures ourselves from our in-house images.
• Topics: the Led Zeppelin Bus, music, road trips, Treasure Coast and Space Coast life, and things our readers would enjoy. Keep it respectful and truthful.
